Like many who arrive in Canada, I carried a suitcase full of dreams and a heart full of hope. But as I navigated my new life, I quickly realized that dreams also require a new understanding – an understanding of a system that was foreign to me, especially when it came to financial literacy.
Working two jobs isn't easy when you have children, I prayed to God to give me an additional source of income without sacrificing the time for my family.
In 2019 a friend presented a business opportunity to me and I enrolled right away to study HLLQP to get a License as an Independent Insurance Agent.
My primary goal was to understand how financial systems work in Canada, how to make your money work for you (like the Rule of 72) Along the way, I realized that more people need to know how to navigate these systems effectively to secure their future and to protect their families.
